We are a casual fine dining restaurant serving Italian, Greek, Spanish and French cuisine.
We are located at the Village Gate in the heart of
Rochester's Neighborhood of the Arts District.
Our mission is to not only please your palate, but to provide you with an enjoyable overall dining experience as well. It would be our honor to have you as our guest.

  • Additional Information: Parking in the back of the building you can enter through the awning marked Entrance B next to the Childrens Institute or you can enter through the courtyard through our patio or the door to the right of our patio.
Please let us know if you are going to a show after dinner so that we can try to better accommodate your need to be out on time to get to the show. 
We are located in the Village Gate in the space formally occupied by the Gate House Restaurant.

Tom's 40 years of experience has come by working at some of the finest restaurants in Rochester.

Thomas "Marty" Moriarty

Sous Chef

Marty and Tom grew up across the street from one another and have known each other their entire lives. Marty is a retired Marine Veteran who worked in the commissary for the Rochester Fast Ferry, helped in the reopening of Deerfield country club where he worked for 4 years and was also the north east regional chef for Holiday Resorts retirement homes.

Linda Ortiz

Cook

Linda has been in the restaurant business for most of her life. Her family owned the former Streppa's Bistro in Webster and she also worked at the Grape Vine in East Rochester.

Kim Banker

Cook

Kim worked under Chef Polizzi for almost 9 years at Tournedos Steak House before working at the Grapevine Restaurant & Corner Sports Bar. Kim has worked at Wegmans for over 20 years doing everything from prepared foods to Sushi

Michael Ernst

Cook

Mike, who is the owners son in law, has been in the food industry for a number of years. He ran the burger bar and has worked in all sorts of prepared foods areas at the Pittsford Wegmans where he currently manages the prepared foods packaging department.

Yosef "Joe" Bar-Tzur

Bartender/server

Joe joined our team in May of 2018 after spending the previous 15 years bar tending at Remington's Restaurant

Joe has worked as a server for the last 35 years at some of Rochesters best restaurants like the Rochester Club, Richardson's Canal House and Tournedo's Steak House with Chef Polizzi

Kristi Holler

Server

Along with serving at Polizzi's Kristi is also a counselor at Byron Bergen High School

Anna Theil

Hostess/Server

Anna got her 1st restaurant experience working with Tom in the kitchen at Tournedos. She is also a life guard and is working on getting her car racing license.

Brian is a SOTA alumni and a member of the NOTA community. Brian comes to us with 10 years of bar tending experience along with having been a assistant food and beverage director at Morton's the Steakhouse, Holiday Inn and TGIF Fridays
